That's what I did in Egypt, which was very, very hot, but also very, very dry (a relief, since I generally don't like hot weather, but am more familiar with the hot-and-muggy kind). Actually, in the U.S., where you don't have to worry about whether the water has been thoroughly boiled, you could drink iced tea. <br /><br />Second checking out the a/c in the car before leaving, but also be prepared in case it stops working on the way (in other words, carry at least plenty of water).
