Cool Scientist Friend is coming! Yay! She will stay with me while she prepares for her diss defense this week and files it and all that stuff. She is so glad to be back where you can actually get Mexican food, so we have planned to hit up all the favorite old spots. Yum.
I'm a little worried how the cats will get along with someone else here and with unfolding the sofabed and whatnot, but it will all work out for the best, I'm sure. It would be better if CSF loathed cats a little bit less but she at least knows what she is getting into. The cats are napping here peacefully with no inkling of what's going to happen. Cross your fingers that they don't try to get too friendly with CSF and that they won't discover the joys of revenge peeing either.
I suppose with that, I should get back to work. Ignore the seductive sounds of the cats snoozing away all comfy and get... back ... to ... (yawn) ... wor

You have friends who loath cats? I suppose I know a few such people, but I certainly don't allow them in my house. ;-)
Well, it's more that she's such a dog person, and plus she met my cats when they were kittens and Loquito had a tendency to pounce and chew on moving feet, which she obviously didn't like ... I did train him out of that though...
You know cats make a bee line for anyone who doesn't like them, especially if said person is highly allergic?
Anyway, it sounds like fun, even if the cats are disturbed from their favorite place of slumber...
